I-Clever IC-BK03 Keyboard Unfolds for Touch Typing

Have you ever been waiting in a Doctor’s room for a long time? The only option under this condition is to attempt to bang out a draft on your phone?
Another alternate option to type with your thumbs is to pack along a Bluetooth keyboard which is folding. We in recent times got hold of an iClever IC-BK03 Trifold Bluetooth keyboard, went for a flu jab, and tried it out.
Trifold type of keyboards is a practice in compromise. They are meant to be light in weight still rugged adequate to tote around, they are needed to be compact still provide keys which are mainly enough to type on indeed. They are simplest set of parameters which are not simpler to achieve.
Out of the box, we found the IC-BK03 to be a pleasant surprise. Many folding keyboards tend to be bulky, when closed the IC-BK03 measures 143 x 89.6 x 16 mm (5.6 x 3.5 x 0.6 in) and weighs 318 g (11.2 oz), but unfolds to dimensions of 251.7 x 89.6 x 6.6 mm (9.9 x 3.5 x 0.25 in) and weighs 11.2 oz (318 g). It is built into an aircraft-grade, matte aluminum-alloy housing with sturdy spring hinges hidden behind plastic covers which slide in a smooth way into place with no gaps left behind. We found light aluminum structure but well adjusted by the central battery compartment.
While opened, the keyboard had a clear wobble, but this went away as it was broken in with a couple of hours of typing.
There was a fault found in the rubber hinge gaskets acting as bumpers, out of this, one was not properly installed and required to be coaxed back into place. There is no lock though, the friction is provided to hinges sufficiently to stay in place, and on the other hand, typing on a lap required special care to avoid its folding on itself.
When keyboard is opened, it is switched on as indicated by LED indicator with a green flash. There is no power switch, it turns to sleep mode after 15 minutes of being idle and can be turned off by pressing down any key for almost three seconds.
Power for the IC-BK03 comes from a 210 mA lithium battery with a specified working time of 84 hours and a standby time of 218 days.
Even after use of several days battery goes unexhausted, the manufacturers have advised not to recharge the battery when not needed, the claim is not testable according to which it recharges in two hours with the help of micro USB cable for threat of causing damage.
